I want to highly recommend Providence Animal Hospital in Charlotte (Rea Rd) and Dr. Ericka Lail. I'm visiting family from out of town and my dog needed an anal gland express. They were extremely helpful from the initial phone call all the way through the appointment, prices reasonable too. Dr. Lail is clearly very smart and was very thorough. She even pointed out an issue that my home vet didn't find.

I had to update my original post for the review. Just got a new puppy and warning on the website and inside the office it says new pet a $25 examination fee. That is completely false advertisement it is for new clients only! Highly disappointed and upset and will not be back for any cat or dog care! I could have got the exact same thing that I just paid over $200 for 5 minutes from the house and paid $60 only reason why I brought my new puppy was because my African Gray had an appointment as well and with him being an exotic this is where he goes. Had to cancel his appointment because I was not expecting to pay over 200 for the new puppy when I already know that his is already going to be almost the same if not more. Highly frustrating and upset. How can they market "New Pet exam 25.00" and it be completely false. Not only did I tell the Vet tech I wanted DHPP only just looked at my bill they also charged for a bortella vaccine that I did not request that was $55 extra on top of everything else. Dr. Lail is phenomenal She goes above and beyond for her exotic pets that she takes care of. I have followed her from another veterinarian because I have a bird which is considered an exotic.
