Nicks Veterinary Hospital

More affordable but my puppy still gets A+ care.

I scheduled all three of my fur babies when I moved. The website mentioned that it would be $25 off of the new patient exam. I first brought my kitten Lexie in and initial impressions didn’t feel great from the staff. They weren’t rude but they didn’t feel warm. They didn’t introduce themselves clearly. In fact my husband and I were feeling like we wouldn’t come back. But once Dr. Becktell came in and introduced herself we felt more at ease and decided that the Dr. being more thorough was more important. When I brought my cat and dog Sophie and Cassie, Dr Becktell was thorough again. But upon checking out, they initially had the $50 off for the two new patient exams and asked if they had been here before. And I said no it’s their first time but I brought their sister earlier. The added the $50 back. I asked if the $25 off was per household. And she said yes. That doesn’t make sense to me personally because if it was per household then it wouldn’t have been $50 it would have just been $25. I wasn’t going to argue over $50 but I know for some people that might be a bigger issue. My kitty was wanting to go home. I am not a penny pincher when it comes to the care of my babies but it wasn’t clear and made me uncomfortable for future pricing. Overall: Dr Becktell was friendly, professional, explained things in detail, listened to my concerns and provided me with the information to make the best decisions for my immunocompromised older girl, Cassie. The staff, I felt could have been either more clear, some of them could have been more friendly in introducing themselves to me and my kitten (on our first visit). Our second visit the staff were polite and kind, even walking Cassie out to the car since I was juggling a cat carrier, purse, and leash. But it would have been nice for the $50 to be clarified and cleared up.

The folks at Epic Tails Veterinary Clinic Have been awesome. I took my lab in because he wasn’t eating properly. They were very thorough in their diagnosis and treatment, and called every day for the rest of the week to check on how he was doing. I have been very happy and satisfied with the level of care and follow up. Highly recommend.

The office staff from the front desk to vet assistant to Dr Lili Becktell were very nice and professional. They took their time and explained everything and didn’t rush you. I highly recommend. The office is in the process of remodeling which is very nice!
