Hight Veterinary Hospital

We have had such a wonderful experience with Hight Veterinary Hospital and are so grateful for the care they have given our cat, Hoya. Most recently, Hoya developed a painful tooth infection/abscess. We brought him in first thing in the morning after noticing worsening symptoms, and the team was able to see him right away. They were incredibly thorough, quickly identified the problem, and started treatment. He has continued to improve so much since then, and we are extremely thankful they caught the infection and treated it promptly. What I appreciate most about Hight is how thorough and attentive everyone is. I always feel like our concerns are taken seriously, and they take the time to really examine Hoya rather than rushing through the appointment. This is especially important to us because he is an older cat with significant heart disease and his care can be more complicated. The entire staff has also been wonderful—kind, compassionate, helpful, and easy to communicate with. On top of the excellent care, their pricing has always felt very reasonable and transparent, which I really appreciate. It is such a relief to have a veterinary team that we trust with Hoya. We have been genuinely impressed with our experiences here and would highly recommend Hight Veterinary Hospital to anyone looking for a caring, thorough, and trustworthy veterinary team.

We have had nothing but great experiences here! we moved to the area, thinking that finding a vet that offers the care our dog needs would be difficult, but every staff member is so kind from front desk, to Dr. Hight. Our first exam was very thorough and they addressed all of our questions, and needs. We have a very anxious dog who has never done well at vet appointments, and has not had a successful nail trim since he was a puppy. They offer sedation for nail trims, which have been the biggest challenge with our anxious dog. Being able to get his nails all trimmed up without him being beyond stressed is seriously life changing. Could not recommend this clinic enough!!

Dr. Hight has been my cats vet for 18 yrs now. If it wasn’t for him, my cat wouldn’t be alive. Over the years, my cat has had urinary obstructive disorder, hyperthyroidism, chronic kidney disease and high blood pressure. Dr. Hight always takes his time with us, explaining clinical observations— never feel rushed and always assesses my cat in the same room. I always feel like my concerns are valued and respected. He will refer us to a specialist if it’s out of his scope of practice. I’ve taken my cat to the cardiologist to ensure his heart was strong enough for anesthesia for teeth cleaning/removal. Dr. Hight heard a heart murmur and wanted to make sure his heart was good to go first! My cat did have a heart murmur- but not as high of a grade as we thought and it was physiologically related. Better be safe than sorry. Anyways, I moved away and drive 45-50 mins for vet visits now bc I can’t find anyone else like Dr. Hight and his staff. Yes, even the staff are wonderful! They always answer the phone and respond d to emails. They also return phone calls in a timely manner. Always respectful. Everyone just cares! 10/10 Edit: Just went to Dr. Matheson for the first time and he is just as compassionate as Dr. Hight. I didn’t realize it, but Dr. Matheson stayed 1 hour after closing to care for my cat. Like I’ve said, everyone in this office cares.
